We can become stuck within our Old Belief System. This is the way we were programmed throughout our childhood, our teen hood and our adulthood. We are not only programmed by our parents either. Many people have the ability to ‘IMPRESS’ us and this is not always in a healthy way. We may take on characteristics of others who would be a very unhealthy influence on us. We may take on board other people’s suggestion and advice and think it will fit with our own opinion. Yet we often find that if the suggestion is negative, it has the potential to create grave situations for us. We take a look at the areas where we may be behaving in a judgemental fashion, we may be behaving in a critical fashion and we may be controlling or taking over another person. We may just be losing friends and family friendships by using this outdated behaviour. We need to believe in our self.
