Grief is something we may not always associate with being deeply hurt by another individual. Whenever we have experienced any painful experience we need to allow our self time to grieve. We have been wounded, we have been let down and we have experienced deep feelings of rage and disappointment. We have experienced loss and now it is time to grieve for all of the above. Grief is different for each of us and largely depends on our level of pain. Some of us need to grieve for a long time and others may come to terms with their pain in shorter time. When we re-frame what has happened to us and place any blame where it actually belongs, instead of blaming our self, then we are able to heal and forgive. Out tears are meant to wash away our pain and as we cry those tears of loss, we wash away the associated painful memory.
