We take a look at honesty with each other within this module. Many times within our relationship we fail to be really honest with each other. There are many reasons for this and one of the major ones is Fear. We may fail to speak truthfully because we fear that our partner may judge us in some way. Loving someone entails providing a safe place for them to come to where they are able to have the freedom to share. We also need to address situations which happen between us with complete honesty, otherwise we are not being true to our self or our partner. White washing our issues does not speak the language of real love. It may at first seem a little bit hurtful to be honest with each other and yet in the longer term this provides feelings of security and trust for us. We are able to believe in our partner because we know they are always honest with us. This also has the added benefit of us being able to believe in our self.
