Product Description
All Knotted Up.
When any person comes from a chaotic home, their life will be dotted with certain behaviour which is, not only hard to understand but also soul destroying at times and at other times leaves their loved ones aghast, that such behaviour could be coming from within them.
All behaviour is learned. This means that back within our childhood, we are exposed to whatever behaviour which is modelled within our presence. Something as simple as an ongoing disagreement between our parents will affect us on a deeper level than we can imagine.
We fail to understand or even remember, just how much of this behaviour we have actually been exposed to. Having continual exposure to someone who exhibits constant anger and aggression will instil the resultant behaviour deeply within us.
We sometimes forget that when we are a child, we are living within our Saturated Learning Time period, which means that anything played out within our presence, will be taken IN by us and stored within our memory bank.
Much of this learning may lie dormant within us until we are much older, yet if the behaviour which is exhibited within our presence as a child is very severe, then we will begin to exhibit this same aggressive behaviour whilst we are a child.
Sometimes we feel abandoned by our parents when they fail to teach us the life skills of, dealing effectively with our issues and also dealing with them as they arise. If our parents do not know how to deal effectively with their own issues and just, ‘Lose the Plot’ whenever they are faced with some kind of challenge within their everyday life, then we are also left without healthy positive strategies for dealing with our own issues.
We rely completely on our parents to teach us every aspect of dealing with life challenges.
In this book, All Knotted Up, I endeavour to explain how we learn all of our unacceptable behaviours, strategies for learning to deal with them and then overcome them and the importance of modelling correct behaviour toward our children as we raise them.
This book contains confronting facts, which we are readily able to recognise and learn from, to help to form our behaviour into something which will be more acceptable to us and further enhance our quality of life.
We do not have to stay stuck within our stubborn behaviour.
It is my wish that every person reads this book with an open mind. These changes can be made and we can be freed, from the difficult to understand behaviour which most of us exhibit at some time within our life. Learning our own personal stress levels and the triggers which have the ability to ignite these behaviours will help us to emerge from that darkest part of our existence.
I hope you truly enjoy this reading.
